About Us
Central Victorian Lion Team (CVLT) are proud to practice and perform the art of Traditional Chinese Dancing.
Our teams consist of a Lion Dance Team,
‘Fu Wa’ Girls Dance Team and a Dragon Team.
CVLT performs at festivals, parades, corporate functions and private celebrations such as weddings or special birthdays. We are also involved in various other community functions and fundraising events.
Instructors are experienced and members are trained in a professional and encouraging environment.
Our team motto is ‘Strength of Spirit’ (Jingshen Li Liang).
This represents many things to our group, encompassing values such as courage, persistence and teamwork!

Teams
Within each team, members are taught the various skills and techniques of performing routines of various styles, along with the relevant cultural traditions and history to give a strong understanding of Chinese Dance.
